Refund policy

Return Period
You have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, in accordance with European Union consumer law. The withdrawal period begins on the day after you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), receive the goods.

Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, items must be in the same condition as received: unused, unworn, with tags, and in their original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Return Process
To initiate a return, please contact us at oskar@coralandclay.com. Returns must be sent to:

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the item is defective or incorrect. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as the risk of return lies with the customer until the goods are received by Coral & Clay. Please retain proof of postage.

Damages and Issues
We take great care in packaging Coral & Clay gifts. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us immediately so we can make it right.

Exceptions / Non‑Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • Perishable goods (such as food mixes, flowers, or plants)
  • Custom or personalized products (such as handwritten cards)
  • Sealed goods unsealed after delivery for health protection or hygiene reasons (e.g., body care or beauty products)
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
  • Sale items and gift cards

Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice or returned goods (whichever is earlier). Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that banks or card providers may take additional time to post the refund.

If returned items are not in their original condition or packaging, we reserve the right to reduce the refund amount to reflect any loss in value.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement is to return the item and place a new order once the return is accepted.

Governing Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be handled exclusively by the courts of the Netherlands.
